Title Sequence
My Favourite Dead Person is a children’s sketch comedy series featuring some of south pacific’s favourite historical characters. Currently available on HEIHEI/TVNZ onDemand.
We were brought on board from the early stages of the project by Nigel McCullogh from The Down Low Concept (with whom we’d previously created the Patriot Brains titles) to design the title sequence, create a series of episodic animations and also develop a collection of animated, reusable elements for the show.
Armed with the immense creative freedom entrusted to us by the client, we set out to develop a distinctive visual identity for the show.
UPDATE! With the great success of Season ☝🏽, we’ve also had the opportunity to work on My Favourite Dead Person Season ✌🏽!
🥇 The end result? one title sequence, 8x episodic character overviews, a bunch of stickers and reusable assets forming a unique identity for the funny show. We made a compilation of all our animations here:
